1. How to Cancel a Reservation
If you need to cancel a booking made through Stayzogo, you can do so through the following methods:
- Online Dashboard: Log in to your Stayzogo account, navigate to "My Bookings," select the reservation you wish to cancel, and click the "Cancel Booking" button.
- Customer Support: Send an email to stayzogo@gmail.com with your Booking ID and reason for cancellation, or call our support line at 9952624751.
Your cancellation request timestamp is registered when the request is finalized through the portal or received by our support staff in writing.
2. General Cancellation Windows
Stayzogo lists accommodations with varying cancellation structures set directly by the hotels. The general policies you may see during checkout include:
Free Cancellation Window
Many properties offer free cancellations up to **24 or 48 hours** before the scheduled check-in time (typically 12:00 PM local hotel time). If canceled within this window, a 100% refund of the room charges will be initiated.
Partial Cancellation Window
Some bookings canceled within a specified period (e.g. less than 24 hours but before check-in) will attract a cancellation fee equivalent to the charge of the first night of the booking.
3. Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations requested after the scheduled check-in window, or failure to check in at the hotel on the booked date ("No-Show"), are subject to a **100% cancellation penalty**.
In such circumstances, no refunds will be issued for the reservation, and the entire amount will be paid out to the hotel host to compensate for holding the room reservation.
4. Hotel-Specific Cancellation Overrides
Important: Because policies vary by property, the exact cancellation terms for each room choice are clearly displayed on the hotel detail page, during checkout, and on your final booking confirmation invoice.
These hotel-specific terms take precedence over the general guidelines listed above. Special promotional stays, festival-season packages, or group bookings are often **strictly non-refundable and non-cancelable**.
5. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)
We understand that travel plans can be disrupted by unpredictable events. Stayzogo may waive standard cancellation penalties and facilitate refunds on a case-by-case basis in the event of:
- Government-imposed travel bans or local lockdowns.
- Natural disasters (floods, cyclones, earthquakes) in the destination city.
- Severe weather leading to complete transportation/flight cancelations.
Verification documentation (e.g. flight cancellation proofs, medical certificates) must be submitted to stayzogo@gmail.com within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in for evaluation.
